Self-Collection for Cervical Screening

Did you know that you can now take your own cervical screening sample? The test is quick, easy, private and reliable.

* From 1 July 2022, everyone with a cervix aged 25-74 years who is eligible for a Cervical Test will have the option to screen using a self-collected vaginal sample or a clinician collected test which collects a sample from the cervix.

Self-Collection is done in clinic, under the supervision of our specially trained nurses. You will have complete privacy, and support as required whilst you conduct your testing. Our nurses will assist you and answer any Q's you may have regarding self-testing.
