Women’s Health Services include assessment, investigation, treatment and referral for pelvic pain, itch, period problems, menopause, continence, fertility issues, contraception and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

 

Our nurses are experienced in identifying and treating women's specific health conditions.

The Cervical Screening Test (Pap Smear)

The Cervical Screening Test is a simple procedure to check the health of the cervix. If you have ever had a Pap test before, the way the test is done will feel the same. It replaces the two-yearly Pap test.

If you’re aged 25 to 74 you should have your first Cervical Screening Test two years after your last Pap test.
