Nursing Staff - Casual/Part Time

Paynesville – East Gippsland Location

  • Training and induction provided

  • Casual with a view to permanent part time work

  • No weekends or public holiday work required

 

The Role

This position is a great opportunity to join our friendly team in our expanding clinic.

You will be caring, compassionate and empathetic in your approach to people.  Customer service and high-level communication will be at the forefront of your ethos.

You will be skilled at remaining calm in highly tense situations and be confident to resolve matters pragmatically.

This is an ideal position if you have a patient focus and want to make the clinic your own while helping to develop the clinic in all areas of general practice care.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

Reporting to, and with the support of, the Practice Manager, you will be a vital member of the team in contributing to the success of the Practice, with key responsibilities entailing:

  • Wound Management

  • Immunisations

  • Procedures

  • Health Assessment and chronic disease management plans

  • Treatment Room & Stock Management

  • Triage – over the phone and in person

  • Infection Control

  • Accreditation  

  • Quality improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 12 months nursing experience, General practice experience is not required, but preferable

  • Immunisation Accreditation

  • Current AHPRA Registration

  • Current CPR Certification

  • You will be required to provide full working rights and a current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or apply for these prior to commencing employment.).
